RDT-6 is a brominated, aromatic flame retardant for thermoplastic resin
systems. RDT-6, a white powder, offers excellent thermal stability, UV
stability and color in the final part.
RDT-6 is a suitable flame retardant in PBT, PET, PET/PBT blends, PC, ABS, ABS/PC blends, Polysulfone, and SAN. The UV stability of RDT-6 allows it to be formulated for applications subjected to indoor fluorescent and casual outdoor sunlight exposure. RDT-6's high purity allows its use applications requiring excellent electrical and thermal properties.
