Cas No. :83-88-5 Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, is slightly soluble in water and is stable in heating in neutral or acidic solutions. It is a component of the flavin-based prosthetic group in the body (the yellow enzyme plays a hydrogen-promoting role in biological redox). When it is lacking, it affects the biological oxidation of the body and causes metabolic disorder. The lesions are mostly manifested as inflammation of the mouth, eyes and external genital area, such as angular cheilitis, cheilitis, glossitis, conjunctivitis and scrotal inflammation, so this product can be used for the prevention and treatment of the above diseases. The storage of vitamin B2 in the body is very limited, so it is provided daily by the diet. The two properties of vitamin B2 are the main causes of their loss: (1) can be destroyed by light; (2) heating in an alkaline solution can be destroyed.
