2. Reduce dosage in fixing process. The dosage is only 1/8~1/10 of soda ash.
3. Economical, it’s easy to be cleaned after dyeing, which can save wash times and provide better drying and wetting rubbing fastness than soda ash.
4. Good slow dyeing effect and prevent dyes from coacervation and hydrolyzing efficiently.
5. Much safe, operating conveniently.
Applications
It is used for cotton in dyeing process for reactive dyes.

Cost Comparison
Compared soda ash substitute with soda ash, we can reduce cost from the following three aspect.
The dosage of soda ash substitute is 1/8-1/10 of soda ash. Now the price of soda ash is 290USD/MT, while soda ash 940 USD/MT.
For example: One factory dye 10 t cotton knitting fabric one day, the bath ratio: 1:15, the dosage of soda ash is 20g/l, so the total dosage of soda ash is 3000kg. Please look the following data in the form.
Name Dosage (kg) Price(USD/kg) Cost (USD)
Soda ash 3000 0.30 900
Soda ash substitute 300 0.94 282
Reduce cost Reduce 618 USD
Conclution: This factory can reduce 618 USD as using soda ash substitute when dyeing 10t fabric.
Compared with soda ash, it has good dispersing and dissolving properity. It’s easy be cleaned, so we only need washing the residual soda one time and it won’t be coacervated and polluted again.
For example: One factory dye 10 t cotton knitting fabric one day, the bath ratio: 1:15, please look at following data:
Name Dosage of water(T) Price of water(USD/T) Cost (USD)
Dyeing First time washing Second time washing
Soda ash 150 150 150 0.32 144
Soda ash substitute 150 150 0 96
Reduced Cost Reduce 48 USD
Conclution: This factory can reduce 48 USD as using soda ash substitute when dyeing 10t fabric.
Soda ash substitute can be all added one time, so it can reduce dyeing time, manpower, electricity power.
