  Tetra Sodium Pyrophosphate(TSPP) is white crystalline powder, its density is 1.824,melting point of 880degree.6g TSPP is dissolved in 100g water when 20degree, the solution is alkaline, it is not dissolved in Alcohol.it is efflorescence and moisture absorbing.It greatly buff PH value and chelate most metal ions.

  Application
  1. anhydrous tetra sodium pyrophosphate is as dispersing agent and softening agent in water treatment and also is added in detergents. It can make wool degreasing agent after reacting with sodium hydrosulfite. It is used in fibers' bleaching and dyeing. It can chelate metal ions and regulate oil slurr in industry lines.
  2. Ten hydrated tetra sodium pyrophosphate(Na4P2O7.10H2O) is stabilizer in toothpaste producing.Its food grade have high complexation with metal ions, dispersity, emulsibility, anti-oxidation, casein thickening and other functions. When during high PH value, it prevents food spoilage.
  3. According native rules, when TSPP is used in dairy, poultry fish products, meat products, ice cream and instant noodles, its maximal adding quantity is 5.0g/kg; when used in canned foods and beverages, the max is 1.0g/kg; max quantity is 0.025g/kg as brightener in formulating potato starch.
  4. TSPP will become white Silver pyrophosphate after meeting Ag+, but the normal phosphate salt will become yellow silver phosphate precipitation after meeting Ag+. That is the special point to distinguish these two kinds of phosphoric salt.
