  Tungsten ore has low tungsten content; the concentrated tungsten could be obtained by the mineral dressing process. Tungsten is divided into two categories of wolframite and scheelite according to mineral type. Tungsten containing few impurities is often brittle and hard, making it very hard to use. However, very pure tungsten is ductile though still very hard, it can be cut by a hard steel hacksaw. Tungsten often used to produce hard materials and heavy metal alloys based on tungsten carbide.One of important tungsten products is high speed steel, which has as much as 18% tungsten content.
