  Chemical Property: Odorless, bitter taste. Mp 200-204 Centigrade. Soluble in ethanol and acetic acid, dissolved in sodium hydroxide solution, insoluble in chloroform. UDCA isomers of CDCA, the litholytic effect is stronger than CDCA, no diarrhea and liver toxicity.
  Indication:
  Cholesterol gallstone. Primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis. Bile reflux gastritis. The product is used for cholesterol gallstones, bile formation and lack of steatorrhea, can also be used for the prevention of drug treatment of stone formation and steatorrhea (ileal resection)
  Clinical Application:
  1. Mainly used for cholesterol gallstones should not operation therapy: Stone non calcified suitable for gallbladder function is normal, light, the diameter of 10-15mm.
  2. The prevention of gallstone formation: a drug used to need to take a long time to the formation of cholesterol gallstones (such as estrogen, clofibrate and its derivatives, cholestyramine) in patients with long-term consumption of high cholesterol diet, or susceptible to genetic factors, in order to prevent gallstone formation.
  3. Treatment of cholecystitis, cholangitis, biliary dyspepsia, jaundice.
