Quantity: 10Metric Tons L-HPC is available in different particle sizes, which make the material suitable for tableting, "anti-capping" or pelletization and extrusion. Conforms to standard USP27. Text USP27 Hydroxy proroxy assay% 7.0-16.0 Loss on drying% ≤5.0 Heavy metals ≤10ppm Residue on ignition% ≤0.5 Chloride% ≤0.36 Arsenic ≤3ppm Application: HPC is used in pharmaceutical industry as cohesive agent, pill coating, and low release agent; 1. mainly as disintegrating agent and adhesive agent for solid preparations. It can make tablet easier to disintegrate and improve hardness and glossiness of the tablet. 2. To improve the formability, brittleness and evacuation as well as improve hardness and accelerate tablet disintegrate for some big fragile tablets with high elasticity 3. L-HPC is useful as disintegrant with low chemical side-reactivity, for direct compression and pelletization (fast disintegrating pellets). |
