Metals & Ores Plant, an unit of EvereadyIndustries India Ltd. Commenced operation in 1956. The plant manufactures Zinc Calots for captive consumption of Eveready battery plants throughout India.In 1971, an altogether new operation was started in the form of manufacturing SUPERALLOYS based on Cobalt and nicked based alloys, which is now named as揝PECIAL ALLOY FACILITY (SAF). The alloys trade named慤NIARC抋nd慤COARC抔roup at alloys conform to internationally known揝tellite攁nd揌aynes攇roup of alloys.All these non-ferrous metal products were developed totally in-house without any technology support. Today the plant manufactures, six types of alloys from which Casting, Components and hard facing electrodes and rods are made for Captive Consumption as well as for Customers all over INDIA particularly in Core Sectors. Any other alloy composition having Ni & Co based can also be made as per Customers specification.The plant operates from its factory at P-4 Transport Depot Road. Kolkata 700 088 in the South Western part of the city of Kolkata, INDIA. The plant was Certified with ISO : 9002 (1996) in 1995, recertified with ISO : 9001(2000) and Certified with ISO:14001 (1996) by RWTUV.
