In the beginning of 1960s, the world's leading pharmaceutical companies were competing in the development of film-coating technologies that had then started to arise. We, having spotted the movement, succeeded in developing "Automatic film Coating Equipment" and "Film Coating Liquid" ahead of the rest of the world. Subsequently, Freund Industrial Co. Ltd. was established in 1964 for the purpose of enterprising those newly developed technologies.
Freund, as a pioneer of "Granulation and Coating Technology" has established today's position mainly in the field of Pharmaceutical and Food industries.
