The Polish collectors抍oin struck in the Polish State Mint has won the Gold Medal of the International Fair EURO-REKLAMA 2003 in Poznan.
This Gold Medal has been awarded to the collectors抍oin from the series揟he Polish painting of the XIXth and XXth centuries朖an Matejko攐f the face value 20 PLN struck with a shiny punch in the 925 silver. It is the first Polish post-war rectangular coin with design elements decorated by the colored enamel using the tampon print method.
INFORMATION-COMMUNICATION-PROMOTION杣nder such motto the 14th edition of the Advertisement Articles and Services Fair EURO-REKLAMA 2003 took place on April 8-11, 2003 in Poznan.The Polish State Mint, presenting its most interesting collectors抍oins and medals on this Fair, has entered the Competition for the Gold Medal of the International Poznan Fair. From among the products submitted and presented during the Fair, the best ones being characterized by modern technical solutions and high quality level have been rewarded with medals.
As concerns the silver 20 PLN coin, the application of modern coin production technology together with artistic view of the issue subject, unconventional design and performance quality has been fully appreciated.
