Microplast AS was established in 1968. At the end of 1991 the company was relocated to new and modern premises in the Tangen industrial area in Stj鴕dal. These premises were considerably expanded during the autumn of 1999. It is worth mentioning that fire and information system safety is given a very high priority at Microplast. Fire sectioning and the fact that the entire building has a sprinkled system are some evidence of this.

    Microplast has a mould workshop with 8 toolmakers and some apprentices. The company is in a strong financial position with an equity holding of around 40 %.
