    Lean Manufacturing

    Our goal is the total elimination of waste through the creation of a culture that relentlessly seeks continuous improvement. Our efforts include focusing on training our workforce in the principles of lean manufacturing, set-up reductions and process improvements while organizing our processes into a cellular structure. We are establishing both manufacturing and assembly cells that are designed to improve throughput and enable quick response to the needs of our customers.

    As each cell is formed, the cell team reviews all of the processes and methods they employ in either set-up or production of parts and assemblies. From these in-depth reviews, the team makes recommendations to management regarding improvements in such items as workplace layout, identification of new tooling or equipment, process redesign, new tooling equipment or gauging or anything they deem necessary to enable the elimination of waste.
