Libra Chemicals Ltd was founded in 1971 as an independent chemical and toll manufacturer. Specialising in the contract manufacture of surfactant based products and water treatment chemicals, Libra Chemicals Ltd has built an enviable reputation for high quality products and reliable service.

    In 1994 Libra Chemicals Ltd significantly enhanced its portfolio by merging with Revchem Limited, the UK agent for Dr Kolb A.G. of Switzerland, a leading independent European manufacturer of nonionic surfactants.

    Today, after a major capital investment program, Libra Chemicals Ltd operates from a new purpose built 5.5 acre site in Irlam, Manchester, with full manufacturing facilities, technical expertise, laboratory support and extensive storage and handling capabilities to fulfill all of your surfactant and contract/toll manufacturing requirements.
