Established as a joint company of Tokyo electric-chemical corporation of japan and Jung-Ang electric industry of korea in the 1973.When our company was established, the entire world was in a confusing situation with vietnam war, middle east war and chinese revolution.

    Then korea had just started the 3rd economic development plan along with "declaration heavy chemical industry" which includes steel, non-steel metal, oil machine, ship and electronic industry as a 6 major industry.

    After producing ferrite which is essential to electronic business TDK korea has been energetically developed and contributed to korea electronic business as we broadened items to electronic component such as coil, condenser, trans, filter.

    However we are now standing in the middle of uprooting change which we had never experienced anytime before.Current trends such as digital, multimedia and highly-precision dominating society are turning the industry, economy, social structure into completely new world.

    Korea TDK has been watching closely these social change, market change, value change so that we can accomplish our responsibility to customer, society, environment and our employees.
