In 1976, an important turning point of Korean economy, Kolon Chemical Co., Ltd. developed Hydrocarbon Resins for the first time in Korea. Currently we are grown as a general chemical company producing approximately 450 different kinds of chemical products. We produce and supply Hydrocarbon Resins used for rubbers, paint, hot melt adhesives(C5 Hydrocarbon Resins, C9 Hydrocarbon Resins, Coumarone Indene Resins, etc) and Phenolic Resins, Polyurethane Resins, PVC stabillizers, Super Absorbent Polymers, etc. used for various fields. In addition, we make every effort to jump to a leading general chemical company in 2000s' to make inroads into new business including DCPD Hydrocarbon Resins and develop high value added products.
