The merger created a new company which today has over 20 years of experience in research, development and manufacture of high quality active ingredients for the pharmaceutical industry. BIOFERMENT and SAPEC continue to exist as divisions of Cerbios-Pharma SA.

    Cerbios-Pharma SA is located in Barbengo, near Lugano, in the south of Switzerland.

    The BIOFERMENT Division is mainly active in the field of biological products, whereas the SAPEC Division specializes in pharmaceutical active ingredients obtained by chemical synthesis.
