Knoll Switzerland was founded in 1893 by Dr. Albert Knoll, Hans Knoll and Max Daege. Today the company is a fully owned subsidiary of Abbott Laboratories, USA. With 130 employees we are an important employer in the Liestal area. Every enterprise shares a common fate. We mean this in a positive entrepreneurial way.     We produce Pharmaceutical Active Substances, Fine Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Dosage forms in state of the art equipment using modern methodology.Knoll Liestal produces both for Switzerland and for the world market in cooperation with other Abbott companies. Within the Abbott group we keep our independence as a Swiss company with its own production. We support Switzerland as a production site.
