We were founded in 1994 with the vision to develop and commercialize nanomaterials and related nanotechnology. Our founder, Tapesh Yadav, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in finance from the Sloan School of Management. Tapesh's thesis in carbon nanotechnologies and related deliberations at MIT in the early 1990s provided the inspiration. From inception, our focus has been to produce the highest quality products in commercial quantities and at cost-effective prices. Our goal is to develop and deliver products that offer a compelling advantage for our customers and strategic partners.

NanoProducts works closely with customers from around the world to develop products for specific applications. In 2000 we commissioned our eighth generation production process and began an ambitious scale up of our manufacturing capabilities, which was completed in early 2001. In 2002, we embarked on a multimillion dollar capital expenditure program in which we added post-processing and handling capabilities, including particle classification and treatment equipment, and dispersion technologies. In early 2004, we began a capital project that quadrupled our manufacturing capacity to supply technology-intensive, high performance building blocks for nanotechnology. All of these capital projects are complete and in operation.

Our current production capacity exceeds 50 tons per year. We are investigating a major scale-up of our capacity to meet future market needs.

NanoProducts Corporation is fully commercial and focuses on serving our customers and partners through performance-oriented product engineering, followed by manufacturing. We can deliver high quality nanoscale powders and dispersions.
