    Since August 2000. Or for the past 75 years, depending on how you look at it.

    Because International Fiber is a new company杅ormed on August 28, 2000, by the merger of International Filler Corporation and Fiber Sales & Development Corporation. And we think like a new company, with new ideas and a constant desire to serve your needs better.

    On the other hand, we've been serving those needs for over 75 years. People have trusted the Solka-Floc畁ame for powdered cellulose and other fiber products since the 1920's, first for industrial fillers and filtration aids, then for an even wider array of uses. And in the '70s, JustFiber甹oined Solka-Floc產s the name to know in powdered cellulose for food ingredients that are naturally fibrous and 99% pure dietary fiber. In 1986, we were in the forefront in getting the FDA to permit the use of powdered cellulose as an anti-caking ingredient in natural cheese, shredded cheese, and grated cheese.

    And today, IFC is the industry leader in high purity fiber products, providing customized product solutions to meet the changing marketplace, better efficiencies, exceptional service, and a broader global presence with 5 modern manufacturing facilities located throughout the world.

    Our product roster includes familiar names like Solka-Floc, Alpha-Cel, KEYCEL, JustFiber, FloAm, and Qual Flo. We're leaders in manufacturing Sisal Fiber, Synthetic Fiber, and Bleached and Unbleached fibers to provide a wide range of functionality in food, cheese, pet food, and industrial applications.

    And the IFC family continues to grow. On February 2, 2001 we acquired Northwest Specialty Fiber, adding their expertise to our own, to make us even better equipped to meet the changing needs of today's fast-paced world.
