P-Ker Engineering uses CNC technology to machine parts from green extruded, isopressed, or cast stock. This enables us to deliver single parts while avoiding expensive tooling costs. The customer not only saves on tooling charges but can also test single parts and readjust the design as many times as necessary.

    Standard design tolerances for green-to-fired machined parts are +/- 0.005" or 1%, whichever is greater. Tighter tolerances can also be specified. They would require additional post-processing operations, such as diamond grinding, honing, or lapping.
