LND, INC. designs, engineers and manufactures a broad range of gas nuclear radiation detectors. Since 1964, LND has developed a product line that encompasses all the commercial, scientific and military applications for nuclear radiation detectors. We have sold literally hundreds of thousands of detectors for just about every type of application.

    LND manufactures a full range of products including Geiger-Mueller Tubes, Energy Compensated Geiger- Mueller Detectors, End and Side Window X-Ray Proportional Counters, Position Sensitive Detectors, BF3 and He3 Neutron Proportional Detectors, Ionization Chambers and Fission Counters.

    In addition, LND offers custom detector designs that meet newly emerging technological needs. LND also considers research into future product development an important aspect of operations. Many of today's emerging detector products, like LND's unique radiation detector with a large area, thin window area of 100 sq.cm., are the result of this development program.

    The LND commitment to quality is company wide. Our quality control program is modeled after the following programs: MIL-E-1, MIL-Q-9858A, Appendix B of 10CFR50, NASA NP200-3 and ISO 9000. LND has developed a proprietary computer testing system where every detector manufactured goes through a computer generated, real life operational simulation, and the performance specifications for the unit are actually produced. This assures the customer that the detector will meet or exceed the performance specification required for the application.

    Applications for LND products include Health Physics, Analytical Instrumentation, Environmental and Air Quality Monitoring, Personnel Monitoring, Power Plant applications, Industrial Gauging, Medical Instrumentation, High Energy Physics research, X-Ray Spectroscopy and Space exploration.
