McGean develops specialty chemical technology and manufactures organic and inorganic chemicals. Principal industries serviced include: glass, fiberglass, catalysts, pigments, oilfield chemicals, metal finishing and aviation. The company has two principal divisions.
The Specialty Chemicals Group manufactures a range of specialty organic and inorganic chemicals. These include intermediates based on allyl chloride, epichlorohydrin, benzyl chloride, organic zircoaluminates and chrome chloride complexes. Our inorganic specialties consist of compounds based on chromium, nickel and copper.
The Cee-Bee Division offers a range of chemistries for aircraft maintenance. These include products for interior and exterior cleaning, sanitizing and lavatory care, exterior paint stripping, and turbine engine overhaul. Cee-Bee products have approvals from aviation groups such as AMS, Boeing, Airbus, and the military.
