Aphton抯 approach to the treatment of major diseases is to employ (anti)揾ormone therapy. Aphton抯 hormone therapy involves neutralizing, or blocking, certain hormones that play a critical role in these diseases. This is accomplished by immunizing the patients with a product called, appropriately, an搃mmunogen,攖hat induces in them a directed antibody response which neutralizes, and removes from circulation, the targeted hormone.
