Biorefining, Inc. was incorporated in January of 2000 with the vision to develop, commercialize and license proprietary technologies capable of economically converting plant material into value-added products, used primarily for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and functional food applications, in addition to food and feed grade products. Obtaining their first patent in April of 2002, Biorefining has continued to expand their proprietary technology portfolio, which currently holds seven additional patents pending. Biorefining's technologies maximize the number and value of co-products contained in a single raw material, fractioning the biomass in several subsequent levels of processing. To date, Biorefining, Inc. currently maintains three technologies ready for commercialization: the Biomillingæ©®rocess, the Bio-Extraction Process, and the Bio-Conversion Process. Biorefining, Inc. intends to concentrate on the licensing of their processes to ethanol facilities and other agricultural processors, providing processing improvements that result in operational efficiencies and enhanced profitability to the licensees. Biorefining, Inc.'s corporate objective includes further licensing of its proprietary technologies, in addition to the further development of its intellectual property portfolio. |
