Huangshi Meifeng Chemical Co., Ltd. Was founded in 1993, primitive name was Tieshan Chidong Chemical Factory, the major product at that time was Phosphorous acid which is the inorganic material of catalyzer.

1998, The name has been changed into "Huangshi Meifeng Chemical Factory.", and it bought 30 mu(about 20 000.001m2) of land around the original site.It began to produce and sell BP-1 and BP-4(Benzophenone-4) which is the water soluble UV absorber to the international market.

2001, 2-Bromo-1,1-diethoxyethane which is the intermediate of the new medical---2-(2-methoxyethoxy)acetaldehyde diethyl acetal was began to produce. And in 2005, the side chain of 2-(2-methoxyethoxy) acetaldehyde diethyl acetal began to produce.

2002, The holding company“Hubei Meikai Chemical Co., Ltd”was founded. The major products of it were BP-2,BP-3(Benzophenone-2,3, UV absorber).

2003, "Huangshi Meifeng Chemical Co., Ltd" was registered and founded.

2004, "Huangshi Meifeng Chemical Co., Ltd" has got the ISO9001:2000 Certification, and got the self-supporting import and export right in the same year.

2005, the other holding company "Qichun Meibang Fine Chemical Co.,Ltd" was founded, the major product was BP-12(Benzophenone-12, UV absorber).

2006, Extracting, drying and packaging facility has been established accroding to the GMP requirements, it further improved the quality of products. In October this year, Meifeng bought 100 mu (66 666.67m2) of land to use as the base for R&D of new products.So far, Huangshi Meifeng Chemical Co., Ltd has been developed to a top-ranking high-tech entity, it devote itself to the research, development, production, marketing and service of sun creener additive of domestic chemical, additive of plastic and coating, medical intermedite and etc. And the total employees is more than 280, in which 43 of undergraduate, 6 of postgraduate.
