Used as a low boiling point solvent, plastic foaming agent, aircraft fuel, manufacturing artificial ice, anesthetic, synthetic amyl alcohol, isopentane, etc.
Used in the manufacture of anesthetics, solvents, low-temperature thermometers and in the manufacture of artificial ice, pentanol, isopentane, etc.

Fire-fighting measures

Spray water to cool the container, and move the container from the fire scene to an open place if possible. If the container suddenly makes an abnormal sound or appears abnormal, it should be evacuated immediately. Extinguishing agent: foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, sand, water fire is ineffective

Emergency treatment

Eye contact: Lift the eyelid and rinse with running water or normal saline. See a doctor if you feel unwell

Inhalation: quickly leave the scene to a place with fresh air. Keep the airway unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Breathing and heartbeat stop, immediately perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Seek medical attention

Ingestion: Drink enough warm water to induce vomiting. See a doctor if you feel unwell

Packaging, storage, transportation

Closed steel drum, threaded glass bottle, plastic bottle or metal drum, 125kg/drum

Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 29℃. Keep the container tightly closed. It is best to transport sooner or later in summer. The tank truck used for transportation should have a grounding chain, and a hole partition can be set in the tank to reduce vibration and static electricity. Avoid exposure to the sun, rain, and high temperature during transportation. Transport as required by dangerous goods
