Twenty years ago (1976) Mr.G.D.Agarwal, a practicing sugar technologist parted ways from a sugar mill. He set his eyes on the vast potential for introducing technologically advanced process house equipment and process upgradation through changeover from batch to continuous operations.

    Shrijee Engineering works was started in 1976 as a partnership firm, with a factory in Ahmadnagar, India to design, fabricate and supply sugar machinery. And due to operational convenience, the administrative office was located at Bombay.

    Since it's inception, the objective of manufacturing improved and continuous type of sugar house equipment was pursued. Shrijee has constantly been evolving newer designs, diversifying it's activities to meet the ends of changing times and expanding it's technology base & product range by exploring new technological developments. It's creative ideas, have helped Shrijee stay in front of technological developments in the sugar industry. Today the Company enjoys a high reputation as a leading manufacturer of equipment of sugar processing.

    As a sugar plant supplier, Shrijee enjoys a unique position in that it is capable of designing and constructing a complete sugar process house on it's own. Having pioneered the development of equipment for continuous operations, Shrijee has earned a unique position amongst the manufacturers and suppliers in the sugar industry in India and overseas.
