DescriptionFree-flowing light yellow powder that consists of fine spherical particles.
CompositionThe spherical particles contain vitamin K1 oil dissolved in droplets of 1-2μm embedded in a matrix of gum Arabic(E414), sucrose and coated with modified starch. The product contains t-butylhydroxytoluene(BHT,E 321)and DL-α-tocopherol(E 307). as an antioxidant.
SolubilityThe product can be dispersed in cold water to form a stable milky emulsion.

ApplicationsPharmaceutical preparations:For the manufacture of solid products with vitamin K1 as the sole active ingredient, as well as multivitamin and mineral preparations, e.g. tables, sugar-coated tablets, instant drink granules, effervescent tablets, hard gelatin capsules.Food products:For the fortification of baby food and children抯 food, dietetic foods, instant drink powders, dried milk, and for vitamin mixtures for the food industry. Dry vitamin K1 1% can also be used in multivitamin fruit juices and confectionery, e.g. multivitamin sweets. Very suitable for the manufacture of hypoallergenic food s ,as the product contains no protein.
Note Dry vitamin K1 1%GFP must be handled in accordance with Safety Data Sheet.
